German Introductory Course for Tourism and Hospitality Professions A2/B1

The skills you acquire in our course

This German course for tourism, the hotel industry, and gastronomy helps German learners working in the hospitality industry reach the A2/B1 level. Learn to interact confidently and appropriately in German with hotel guests, colleagues, and superiors in a format that allows you to work and study professional communication at the same time.

If you participate in a face-to-face course, we offer Phonetics practice sessions in the exclusive LcL Language Lab. Practice your pronunciation while you focus on roleplay activities: act out (difficult) conversations with customers and employees, solving problems, and responding to complaints.

The German course focuses on customer service in Viennese receptions, restaurants, and coffee houses. Additionally, it prepares you to pass exams at a tourism vocational school. Practice using foundational German grammar structures you know and add specialized terms for tourism professions into your vocabulary. The course content equips you for German conversations with customers and colleagues while you learn to navigate laws and regulations.

Understand how to use German to respond professionally and correctly to every situation– learn about summer, winter, or year-round tourism, local everyday life and hotel culture, special requests in room service, in the hotel or outside providing services like activities or city visits. You can study this course content in person or online.
