German Compact for Engineers, Architects and Construction B2+

From your first draft to construction

This German course is for engineers, architects, construction workers, and those in related real estate and construction jobs at language level B2 or higher. Learn to communicate with colleagues, clients, superiors, and building authorities in written and spoken form.

If you participate in a face-to-face course, we offer weekly sessions in our exclusive LcL Language Lab, where you take on various roles to act out having complex conversations with customers and interviewing, finding solutions in negotiations, and getting the board to approve your project. With each case study you complete, you increase self-awareness of your spoken German.

You're introduced to theoretically and practically relevant technical vocabulary, figures of speech, and communication forms. Be clear and comprehendible when discussing the construction industry's basics and performance phases. Complete an example project and find out how to work with construction institutions. The course contents are tailored to the needs of real estate and construction workers. In addition, learn about business communication and intercultural topics that affect your industry.

This language course is designed to help civil engineers, architects, and mechanical engineers who’ve moved to Austria and are pursuing a skilled profession in construction or any related jobs. To help you achieve this, the content of this course will improve your German construction-related communication skills.
