German Compact Course C1

Our C1 compact course is designed for advanced German learners who want to develop their language skills to an almost native level – suitable for university studies, professional environments, or demanding everyday communication.

Three times a week, you will train all four skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing – with a strong focus on precision, stylistic nuances, and idiomatic expressions. You will learn to express yourself eloquently and in a subtle way, even on abstract or complex topics.

Typical course themes include education, politics, media, science, culture, and literature. You will expand your vocabulary, deepen your grasp of grammatical structures, and work with advanced text types. Our experienced instructor will also teach you idioms, figurative language, and rhetorical devices to further refine your style.

The integrated pronunciation training in the LcL language lab helps you practice accentuation, intonation, and the distinct details of authentic communication.

The course is specifically designed to prepare you for the ÖIF C1 exam, which may be required for admission to universities in German-speaking countries. For a more thorough exam preparation, we recommend additional self-study or our C1 intensive course, which includes focused writing practice and exam strategies.
