Course description English intensive course

The compact English B1 language course teaches you to use increasingly fluent and advanced English at levels B1.1 and B1.2. The course familiarizes you with advanced language acts using the connected language structure of English. Additionally, it prepares your linguistic skills for the corresponding B1 English exam. These lesson materials give you the tools to respond to situations in the Anglo-Saxon cultural context related to daily life, residence, and work. Learn to state your position on different subjects and to follow conversations in English.

Notice language actively, participate in discussions, and express your goals and dreams. Do this through writing or speaking – in tests or everyday life. In the modern, computer-led LcL Language Lab, you’ll listen and perfect your spoken English with the help of an enthusiastic Language Lab* instructor. These practice sessions will help you develop into an increasingly independent English speaker. *Online participation is also possible on request. In the case of online course participation, the phonetics units in the LcL language laboratory are omitted.
