Course description English compact B2

The compact B2 English course expands your language skills to include language forms and structures used at levels B2.1 and B2.2. Work on reading, listening, writing, and speaking modules three times a week. Express your thoughts on increasingly complex topics from your daily life and area of expertise. Become increasingly proficient at using language fluently, clearly, and comprehensibly in challenging situations in the anglophone world. Learn to be prepared for language use and to write a variety of text types. Develop these skills using listening and speaking tasks in the professional LcL Language Lab*. This practice will prepare you for B2 English exams or for just having conversations without making mistakes. *Online participation is also possible on request. In the case of online course participation, the phonetics units in the LcL language laboratory are omitted.

Use language independently in real or imaginary situations

Apply grammar correctly in connected sentences about daily life and your area of expertise

Participate in discussions about your area of expertise, clearly lay out your opinions and goals

Practice initiating and continuing conversations, as well as correcting yourself

Write complex and detailed texts about specific topics
