German Compact Course B1

Our B1 Compact Course is ideal for those who want to systematically expand their German skills and communicate confidently in everyday life – without time pressure, alongside work or studies.

We meet three times a week to focus on vocabulary, grammar, and useful expressions for familiar and new real-life situations. Key topics include housing, education, health, leisure, work, and dealing with authorities. You learn how to hold conversations, express opinions, and convey information clearly.

You practise all four skills – with a special focus on listening, speaking, and reading comprehension. The integrated pronunciation training in our LcL language lab helps you speak more fluently and clearly with individual feedback.

We use course materials specifically designed to prepare you for the official ÖIF B1 Integration Exam. If you're planning to take the exam, we recommend additional self-study or our more intensive B1 course for thorough preparation with a strong focus on writing and exam strategy.
