You already know which course you want to take? Then select <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/german-english-language-courses-language-lab-lcl-language-school-vienna">your course</a> and click the book course button. The sign-up menu takes you through the registration process in a couple of easy-to-follow steps. Then, the LcL team receives and confirms your registration before sending you an invoice. You can always sign up in person at the institute during our opening hours from Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 6 pm and on Friday between 8 am and 7 pm.

You can book a course for as long as it’s open: when the status is green (open spots) or orange (only a few spots left). During this time, you can book a spot on the course. This only applies to group courses, however. We continually accept applications for <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/private-language-classes-with-exam-preparation-in-german-and-foreign-languages-at-lcl-institute-with-lab-vienna">private</a> or <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/business-language-courses-lcl-institut-lab-vienna">company courses</a>.

Once you’ve chosen the right course for you, all you need to do is enter your personal data, upload language level verification, and write us about any financial support you might receive. Once your application has been verified and confirmed, you will receive an invoice (if your financial support covers 100% of the course, you pay 0€) to pay within seven days.

As soon as you begin the booking process on the <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/german-english-language-courses-language-lab-lcl-language-school-vienna">LcL website</a>, you can see how many spots are still available in each course that fits your filter criteria. You can sign up for any of these courses.

Please check if you could attend another language course with open spots at a different time. If not, you can <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/lcl-institut-vienna-language-school-contact-us">select</a> that you’re interested in attending this language course. Then, LcL can put you on the waiting list. The waiting list is sorted by registration date. Should a spot in the course become available, we will contact you, your course spot will be booked immediately, and you’ll have to pay the course fee right away.

After you sign up for a language course, you receive a registration confirmation and LcL will review your registration in three days or less. If everything is in order, you will receive a registration confirmation with a payment link that will lead you through the payment process. You have up to 7 days to pay the invoice. Only after you pay the invoice, your spot in the course is booked and can’t be given to anyone else.

Please check that you filled in all the mandatory sections of the registration form and entered correct payment information. Should you still be unable to sign up, <a href="https://lcl-institut.at/en/lcl-institut-vienna-language-school-contact-us">contact</a> LcL. Our team is happy to help.

Please wait three days after signing up to allow our team to review your registration and send you an invoice. If you meet the course requirements and there are still spots available, you will receive an invoice soon. After you pay the invoice, your participation in the course is confirmed and your place secured.

Fill out your registration form as usual and select the option that states that you need language level assessment. LcL will contact you, advise you, assess your language level if necessary, and help you continue to book a course.

In some cases, we require applicants to show us language level verification. To verify your current language level, you can upload confirmations of previous courses, certificates from previous courses or exam grade transcripts (ÖIF, ÖSD, Goethe, EPD, telc, Cambridge, confirmation of participation from other language schools, etc.).

If you are just starting to learn your target language, you can participate in an A1 course. You don’t need language level assessment to participate in A1 courses. However, if the language you want to learn uses the Latin alphabet, you must be proficient in using it (i.e., reading and writing) as well.

In Literacy A0 you get to know the Latin alphabet. That means learning how to read, write, and pronounce the letters of the Latin alphabet, as well as learning a few words and phrases. A0 courses are a prerequisite to A1 courses because A1 courses already start with short, simple reading and listening texts. These are not suitable for learning the Latin alphabet.

Fill out your registration form as usual and show the LcL team your most recent language level verification document. If necessary, the LcL team will briefly assess your language level and help you continue to book a course.
