From A to Z – that is, from alloy to the zygomatic bone – our professional language course for dentistry teach you all , you learn the essential terminology. However, not only you learn these Latin and Ancient Greek terms, but also the professional language used by practicing dental personnel. The course is for overseas students/ trainees and qualified dentists and dental assistants.

During the course, you work through practical teaching texts with examples from everyday practice, medical reports, and anecdotes to reinforce your vocabulary. Your understanding is further deepened by supplementary exercises drawing on cranial and oral anatomy, as well as the historical foundations of dental practice. All content is aligned with the new licensing regulations for dentists, ensuring you acquire up-to-date knowledge.

A central component of the course is preparation for the Austrian Dental Chamber’s (ÖZÄK) specialized language exam. You work on typical exam questions, practice sample exams and receive targeted feedback on your performance.
