Course description English compact A2

The English Compact Course A2 deepens your basic skills and enables you to manage everyday situations independently: shopping, doctor’s visits, travel, leisure activities, and simple office communication. You also learn to write short emails or notes and understand conversations on familiar topics.

Grammar topics include past tenses, simple future forms, prepositions, and commonly used adjectives. Listening practice with authentic texts, pair or group dialogues, and short writing tasks ensure practical progress.

Courses are held mainly in the late afternoon or evening. At registration, you can choose your preferred times. On-site participants also train pronunciation and intonation in the LcL language lab.

Complete basic language acts about, e.g., yourself, work, and health

Use more advanced grammar and vocabulary, understand and form connected sentences

Talk about things you know in everyday situations, e.g., family

Write official and unofficial notes or short letters
